Today we join in spirit our Sisters in Bad Driburg, Germany, as they joyfully celebrate the Nameday and, at the same time, the Silver Jubilee of Religious Profession of our Superior General, Mother Mary Elizabeth. With Mother, we thank God for calling her to our Congregation and for giving her the beautiful, though heavy responsibility, of leading our whole Congregation after the heart of Christ and in the spirit of our Founders, St. Arnold Janssen and Mother Mary Michael. We wish her, especially in this Year of Consecrated Life, a deep joy that flows from following Christ crucified and a profound peace that is the fruit of faithfully doing God’s will. May her love for Jesus, her Bridegroom, grow and deepen each day, and may his mercy and love ever shine through her, radiating to each member of our Congregation, to all near and dear to her, and to all souls entrusted to her care; and may God increase her Grace of Office so that she may carry out her God-given task with an understanding heart and a discerning spirit, ever mindful of the Trinity dwelling within her.

To you, dear Mother,
our heartfelt congratulations and prayerful best wishes!
The whole Congregation celebrates your special day with joy and gratitude.
From our hearts,
for all that you have done and are doing for us,
for leading us closer to God, for helping us in every possible way,
and above all, for accompanying each of us wtih your love and prayer.
May God be your reward!
